The check, presented to Falls Church Education Foundation representative Bob Young by Waterford’s President and CEO Jan A. Zachariasse, reflects Waterford’s continued commitment to doing business and bringing business to the cities in which it builds.

The $10,000 donation will help Falls Church Public Schools and its Education Foundation finance and promote extracurricular educational opportunities for students and teachers, including travel to academic contests, grants for advancement of specialized programs, projects, and training, and new college scholarships opportunities.

The charity event, attended by the Falls Church Mayor David Gardner and other city officials, was held at Waterford’s luxury condominium development, The Broadway, located at 502 West Broad Street in Falls Church, Virginia.

“It is important that Waterford continues to provide support to worthwhile causes such as these,” explained President and CEO Jan A. Zachariasse. “Helping further educate our children will in turn help ensure the future growth and success of our communities.”
