WATERFORD DEVELOPMENT WINS BEST CONDO PROJECT OF THE YEAR FOR THE PALLADIUM

Reston, Va. – Reston based Waterford Development has received an award for best condominium project in the Mid-Atlantic region for its luxury residence, The Palladium, located in the heart of McLean, Va. The award, given by Delta Associates, was presented October 5 at the 10th Annual Multifamily Awards for Excellence.

“The Palladium is a mixed-use development featuring 69 luxury condominiums, as well as 10,000 square feet of retail and 6,500 square feet of office space. This award-winning project also includes the Civic Green, a terraced outdoor park with a water sculpture at its center. The sculpture was commissioned by Waterford Development and created by internationally renowned Baltimore native Rodney Carroll. The Palladium has become an integral part of the McLean community’s efforts to revitalize the downtown area.

Delta Associates selects award winners based on several criteria, including location, lease/sales price, design and marketing. The recognition for best overall condominium project was one of only nine awards presented to condominium projects in the Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. Additional recognition is awarded for apartment projects in the same region. The awards were presented October 5th at the headquarters of the National Association of Homebuilders.
